The party doesn't stop at Main Gallery! We are excited to announce the closing reception for work from Dallas-based artist Joey Brock on Saturday, May 20th from 4:30-7:30 p.m.! This is your last chance to see these incredible mixed-media portraits in person, so don't miss out. We’ll have fabulous art from Joey and our crew of Texas artists including Felice House, Dana Younger, and Judy Paul. Enjoy art, drinks, and good vibes. All are welcome!

ABOUT THE ARTIST
JOEY BROCK
Born in Fort Worth, Texas and growing up in southern Colorado, Joey Brock is interested in celebrating people and our collective humanity. Brock earned his degree in Fashion Merchandising from Bauder College in 1988, and then became a self-taught artist with over 20 years of experience. His work has been shown nationally at venues including the Bradbury Art Museum, Arkansas State University, (Jonesboro AR), the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts / LHUCA, (Lubbock, TX), The Delaware Contemporary, (Wilmington DE), the Meadows Gallery - University of Texas at Tyler, (Tyler, TX) and Northpark Center, (Dallas, TX) as well as numerous solo and group exhibitions at galleries across the nation. In 2022 his work was selected by Lauren R.
O'Connell, curator of Contemporary Art, Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, (Scottsdale, AZ) for New American Paintings, Issue 156. In addition, his has been featured on the digital billboard of the Pendry on Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA. Brock currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
